Hand-measured from a flat product—use as a starting point. Velcro width is adjustable. Shoulder-strap range is about S 4–6 cm, M 5–7 cm, L 6–8 cm.
How to introduce
Most birds have never worn a diaper and will resist at first. Give them time.
- Let them investigate first. Don’t put it on as soon as it arrives. Leave it nearby as a toy until your bird is no longer wary of it.
- First wear in a quiet room. Keep a hand under the bird so they can stand normally. Speak softly and don’t let go right away. If they try to chew the fabric, pause and try again later.
- About 30 minutes the first time. Add a little more each day. Always supervise. Remove the diaper if the bird shows stress.
